CATGPY: UNHINGED
Wednesday 11th March
19:00 - 22:00
CatGPT launches Glasgow Comedy Festival with a robotic dead-cat and life coach who may have the answers to our confusing world.
Created by Welsh comedian Robin Wealleans, the show tells the mostly true tail of his attempt to resurrect his beloved cat Lentil as L3NT1L: an AI-powered robotic philosopher built with sensors, code, projections and a bizarre meow synthesiser.
Blending stand-up, science, robotics and gloriously glitchy meows, CatGPT has blown minds from Edinburgh to Japan, Australia and the Cheltenham Science Festival, and was shortlisted for Best New Show at Brighton Fringe.
The show is completely improvised and shaped live with the audience, exploring curiosity, technology and neurodiversity through comedy and chaos and with all filters disabled.
And yes — L3NT1L himself will be appearing in Glasgow. Robin has persuaded the reluctant and slightly badly wired cat to leave his laboratory and offer life advice in person. There’s also a live Q&A where you can help design L3NT1L’s next evolution. He’s demanding a full-body upgrade… and proper whiskers.
“It’s the kind of beautiful thing that comes from minds which are allowed to roam free” — Robin Ince
