celebrating one year of timescape. thanks to everybody that has joined us at any of our parties to date. it's been fun, and we’re both buzzing to be joined by two exceptional guests at the flying duck.
first up, we have lord of the isles, a truly mythical figure in the realms of deep dance music. with a record bag as deep as his production output is vast, his works are revered the world over, and we’re both incredibly excited to have neil play in glasgow for the first time in seven years.
expect warm, often ethereal, at times bittersweet expeditions through electronic soundscapes which are often near impossible to pigeonhole, all honed through a lifetime of mastering the craft, both behind the decks and in the studio.
next we have nusheen, a glasgow-via-manchester selector, specialising in deeper shades of house and infectious left-field obscurities.
nusheen is the co-founder of good sugar - a house-focused night prioritising female, queer, and trans artists, providing an alternative, deep, sensual and emotive club space where deep house and it’s sonic history can be celebrated in it’s entirety.
their radio show 'perfume industry' is an hour-long sojourn through the genre, where sonic offshoots are explored with both purpose and poise, leaving no stone unturned.
as always, hope to see as many old and new friends there as possible :)
