Jemima make songs that seem to slip in sideways rather than come announced. Nothing is rushed or over-explained. Melodies fray at the edges, moments repeat until they feel personal, and silence is treated with as much care as sound. There’s something quietly disarming about it all, like stumbling on a private world you weren’t meant to overhear.
Craggyland’s sets unfold like a distorted sonic map, recognisable at first, then subtly bent and disoriented. Lose your bearings and follow her deeper. Pushing instruments and song forms to their edges, folding in unconventional textures like electric toothbrush hums, bubble wrap crackle, phone screen radiation, and field recordings, all digested and reshaped toward unexpected ends.
Sounds from the other side of a fog-soaked lane. Unfolding like whispered stories carried on late-night air, guided by instinct rather than explanation. Surface rhythms that dissolve and reappear when listening to The Gloaming Hour, leaving space for silence, reflection, and the subtle pull of emotion. Fresh in-person soundtrack from the EHFM studio.
We will have a No Soap & Slipping b2b to fill in the gaps.
