Luna Roja with LAZLO, manu_facturer, Ángel Negrín & Shedcat

Luna Roja is back!

Start your bank holiday weekend right with a tasty dose of hypnotic and groovy techno. No interruptions from 11 ‘til 4, come from the start, rave until the end (and for less than a tenner!).

Joining us for this fifth and unique edition:

Lazlo has quickly made her mark on the scene, playing for long-running collectives Animal Farm and Frenetik. Her sound moves through the darker and lighter shades of electronica, driving through modular, analogue textures and heavy low-end into deep, hypnotic territory. Usually found supporting some of the biggest techno heavyweights, this is a rare chance to catch her taking full control of the closing stretch.

manu_facturer is a DJ and producer pushing a distinct blend of industrial, minimal and dark ambient sounds. Expect industrial breaks and stripped back techno with attitude. Co-founder of the Glasgow-based collective A.D.S.R, he has played across the city supporting acts like Public Energy, Setaoc Mass, Scaler and Wolf Eyes.

Ángel Negrín is the founder and resident of Luna Roja. His sets move through hypnotic and groovy territories, building tension and release with psychedelic elements and unpredictable turns. After years playing in punk, psych and post rock bands, Ángel took a turn towards mixing other people’s music, inspired by the rave scenes of Ghent and Glasgow, where he’s currently based.

Shedcat brings a sensual, high energy sound, moving between tribal rhythms, euphoric peaks and textured grooves. From workshops with Eris Drew and CC:DISCO!, to sets in remote communities and bush doofs, her approach is all about connecting with the dancefloor. She’s quickly making her mark on the local scene, already playing some of the city’s key venues like Sub Club and The Berkeley Suite, and shaping up as a strong future figure.
