For those not yet acquainted: Kibo is a London-based rap anomaly known for high-energy lyricism, abstract humour, and genre-flipping production. A “rap shaman”, he makes music that fuses pop culture deep cuts, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it punchlines, and a mysterious philosophical undercurrent known only as Kwengletarianism

His 2022 mixtape FBFR (Fuego Baby Furtado Returnz) and its follow-up single Victory Lap showcased a maximalist narrative arc brought to life through rapid-fire delivery, absurdist humour and self-mythologising. This year he’s already dropped 2 music videos and freestyled alongside JME.
