"Circuits hum like ancient spells as stone makes way for bronze, a shields hammered surface etched with runes now illuminated by elektroid glow."
Pariah (Arthur Cayzer) is a British music producer and DJ based in Amsterdam. He is the co-founder of the Voam record label alongside Blawan (Jamie Roberts), and the two have collaborated extensively for more than a decade, performing and releasing music together as Karenn and Persher. His output reflects a patient pursuit of physical and emotional impact, liberated from genre limitations. His earliest productions cut through the vast murk of late 00’s music blogs found their way into the OG Redstone Press iPod classic. He has continued to release records at a considered, contemplative pace enroute to his acclaimed 2018 album on fabric's Houndstooth label, Here From Where We Are. A run of vital tracks followed such as Caterpillar, Squishy Windows & his remix of Teqmun's "Nettle Dweller", all part spectacular collaborations with esteemed labels like Fever AM, TraTraTrax & Flippen Disks. Whether it's as Pariah, Persher or Karenn, Arthur's music is a memorable swirl of ideas and influences that feels eternally in-progress, waiting for the right collaborators, contexts and crowds to cohere and inspire with rare impact.

Building on their shared exploration of forward-leaning UK club sounds, EM + STAV have firmly rooted themselves in Bristol’s free-spirited music community. The duo focuses on a sound that draws from the city’s bass mutations as a springboard for their own take on modernist dance music. Stalwarts of the UK/EU club scene, they have releases on labels like Unknown Untitled, Integraded, Earful of Wax, Gottwax, and their own imprint, JoyLift. And regularly play at renowned events including Field Maneuvers, Love International, Strange Brew, Berlin’s Paloma Bar & Glastonbury. Em Williams is also recognised for her valuable contribution to the music scene as co-creator of Mix Nights, a DJ course for beginners and intermediates under the Saffron umbrella— a music tech initiative taking an intersectional approach to redressing the gender imbalance in the industry. Known for their bass-heavy, futuristic blend of intricate rhythms, industrial sound design, and experimental elements, EM + STAV continue to push forward-leaning club music while staying true to the core principles of great soundsystem culture.
