What is the capacity?
230 standing / 100+ seated (seated capacity can vary depending on setup)

What is the hire fee?
We will respond to enquiries with fee information. Some events may incur additional costs for extended hours etc.

What times do gigs/clubs start/finish?
Gig times are 7PM doors and 10PM curfew.
Club hours are 11PM doors and 3AM curfew.

These times can be flexible depending on the event and other bookings - if there’s no gig on beforehand, a club can start earlier, for example.

When can I load in/start sound checks?
Standard gig load in is from 5PM on the day of the event. This can be earlier if arranged in advance.

We suggest accommodating at least 2 hours for a sound check.

Standard club load in is from 10PM if we have no gig on beforehand, or 10:15PM if we do. Again, this can be earlier if arranged in advance.

What backline do you provide for gigs?
We can provide a drum kit as backline. Drummers will need to bring snare/cymbals/hi-hat clutch. All other equipment will need to be provided by the bands/organiser/promoter.

Do you have needles for the vinyl decks?
No, DJs wanting to spin vinyl will need to bring their own needles.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately we are not a wheelchair accessible venue. As we’re in a basement, there is a big staircase to come down to enter the venue.

Under 18s?
Nope. The Flying Duck is 18+ at all times.
