We’re super proud of our first timescape party back in march, and want to thank everyone again for the support! we want to use this platform to both develop as djs and bring artists to glasgow we think are fresh, push boundaries, and represent our tastes as much as possible. hence, we’re very excited to welcome shadow acid to the flying duck on friday 27th june.

Shadow acid is the mysterious alias of one of electro’s most prolific producers, and their sound revolves around an inimitable combination of acid futurism and nineties-reminiscent breakbeat techno.

To our knowledge, this is a live performance only seen at the excellent above below festival and the london institution electrowerkz, so it’s a real treat getting the opportunity to hear it in glasgow, and we really do stress that it’s one not to be missed.

We’ll be warming things up before mr acid takes centre stage - expect crashing breakbeats and monstrous low-end, all complimented by blissful 303 patterns and subtle references to rave’s halcyon days, and perhaps even excursions into jungle’s deeper realms.
